Book lover? Food lover? Great! Combine both those passions Sunday at the Culver City Friends of the Library’s third annual Edible Book Fair.

Choose a book title, imagine how that would be played out in food, and make it using edible ingredients (you can use non-edible props to help if needed).

The event will be held in downtown Culver City at Gyenari, from 1 to 4 p.m. Judges include Vicky Fan (formerly of Beacon), Clemence Gossett of Gourmandise Desserts and ... yours truly.

Prizes include gift certificates to Culver City restaurants including Ford’s Filling Station, Waterloo & City and Akasha. Or win a chance at a new Sony e-reader in the raffle; tickets are $1 apiece.

Check out the website for entry information and inspiration from photo galleries of the 2009 and 2010 events.
