Wisteria’s most adventurous and least season-specific item in its new line of Independence Day-themed Americana is this Tramp Art mirror shown above. Replicating the intricate carving and layering of wooden pieces that defines the mostly anonymous late 19th and early 20th century craftsmanship known as tramp art, the just-over-2-feet-tall $379 piece sells for a fraction of the price of an authentic antique. Cast in resin, it is available in a dark brown tone, but in white it looks fresh and neo-Rococo -- more like carved coral than whittled wood. The nautical plates surrounding the mirror can do double duty as summer tabletop items and as year-round wall decor for beach houses. The set of four Yankee doodle designs -- whale, anchor, schooner and compass -- is $49 at www.wisteria.com. (800) 320-9757
