CA Boom design show nears

Design aficionados alert: CA Boom is back. In it’s sixth year, the West Coast design fair will bring together more than 100 vendors showcasing contemporary design: modern parenting, prefab, indoor/outoor living, building accessories, surfaces and finishes. Furniture will include Floor-Model’s Sto-desk 5000, above, a four-drawer executive desk in rosewood, www.floor-model.com.

Held in the former Robinsons flagship department store in Beverly Hills, the show begins June 26 (trade only), then opens to the public 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 27 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 28. Price: $20 online, $25 at the door. A Friday night opening party with music and wine begins at 6 p.m. and is open to all ($20 online, $25 at the door).
