When I spotted the Puzzle Coffee Table at the CA Boom design show last weekend, where it made its debut, I immediately began fantasizing about all the clutter I could hide inside this clean-lined, open-and-close MDF table. Designed and engineered by husband and wife team Brady and Charlotte Wilkinson, the new Moduture collection will also include a stackable cabinet composed of modules with interchangeable covers that can go high or wide and a walnut-stained veneer bookcase with white aluminum movable slats. ‘The premise for Moduture is in its name,’ says Charlotte. ‘We believe that furniture should adapt to a space versus the other way around.’ Although exact pricing has not yet been determined, it looks to be affordable when it’s available this fall. The designers estimated that the three pieces will run between $600 and $1,000 each. Until retail outlets are lined up, sales will be made through the Moduture website.
