Designer Angela Adams’ new line of hand-tufted rugs are not just a warm companion for winter. If the above photograph is any indication, they are also the perfect companion for any Telecasters or amplifiers you may have lying around. The textural and colorful “Atticus” series comes in “Moka Polka,” shown above, and a smoky blue-gray the Portland, Maine-based designer calls “Ice Blue.” She’s also got two new designs that would be perfect for the modernist home: ‘Shimmer,’ pictured left, and ‘Archie,’ which she says on her website was named after a cat. Both come in two color schemes.

The rugs are hand-tufted from 100% New Zealand wool and come in six standard sizes: 2 1/2- by 8-foot, 3- by 5-foot, 5- by 8-foot, 8- by 10-foot, 8-foot round, and 9- by 12-foot. Prices range from $349 to $1,950 and are available here.
