Man posed as photographer to lure teenage girls, police say

A 42-year-old man who allegedly posed as a photographer to lure two teenage girls into taking ‘sexy’ photos has been arrested, Fullerton police said Tuesday.
Coopy Boyer is suspected of approaching the two girls last week, saying that he was a professional photographer who wanted to take their photos, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Boyer allegedly told the girls his name was James Keong.
After the girls gave him their phone numbers, he followed up with dozens of text messages that become more suggestive regarding the types of photos he wanted, police said.
He is accused of ‘asking the girls if he could come to their house while their parents were away and telling them that he could bring alcohol and photograph them while they played dress-up,’ police said in a statement.
‘The suspect was adamant about no parents being present while he photographed them and said that there was no need for the parents to sign any waivers for him to shoot,’ police said.
The girls told their parents, who alerted police. A meeting was set up, and officers arrested Boyer.
