Placentia police investigating fatal shooting

A man was shot and killed in a Placentia alley early Sunday morning after a confrontation with multiple people, police said.
The shooting occurred about 5:20 a.m. in the 600 block of Center Street, police Sgt. Tom Valentine said. The victim, described as a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene, he said.
The victim’s name has not been released, and no arrests have been made, Valentine said.
