Brazilian singer, songwriter and musician Caetano Veloso wowed his audience at a recent concert in the city of Brasilia, Brazil, but not so much with his tunes.

The artist was so wrapped up in his music that he forgot the size of the stage -- and fell off of it in an inpromptu crowd-dive. Take a look at the video.

Here on the Los Angeles Times Soundboard blog, Ann Powers writes: ‘Does a more gorgeous description of erotic surrender exist than [Cateano Veloso’s] version of Mexican songwriter Tomas Mendez’s ‘Cuccurucucu Paloma’? (You might have seen Caetano perform it in Almodovar’s insanely romantic film ‘Talk to Her.’) Veloso’s a world class songwriter in his own right; try one of his mellower outings, like ‘Cinema Transcendental’ or ‘Cores, Nomes’, ... to set the mood.’
