Turns out Ahab was right. There is a white whale. Or nearly white. Scientists are all a twitter about the spotting of a mostly white killer whale off Alaska. Researchers say it’s not a true albino but certainly has a color scheme not typical of orcas. The Associated Press tells the tale.
