On Saturday, Nov. 8, (yes, that’s this weekend), potential pet adopters have a great chance to meet their new best friends at the All-American Adopt-a-Pet Extravaganza, hosted by the East Valley Animal Care Center in connection with the Found Animals Foundation.

Games and prizes are offered; refreshments will be available and adopted pets will go home with ‘swag bags’ of their very own. Join in the fun from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the East Valley Animal Care Center, 14409 Vanowen St., Van Nuys. For more information, call (310) 566-PETS.

She’s described as a ‘love bug’ who gets along with everyone (human or canine) by the shelter’s New Hope coordinator, Valerie Markloff.
