George Michael was arrested early Sunday morning in London on suspicion of being unfit to drive, BBC News reports.

Michael allegedly rammed his Range Rover into a Snappy Snaps photo-printing storefront near his home in Hampstead, got out of the vehicle and waited for police to arrive, said the Daily Mail. The paper reported that Michael said he hadn’t been drinking, and that he was not given a breathalyzer test. Another British paper reported he was thought to have been tested for drugs while at a London police station after his arrest.

In 2007, Michael pleaded guilty to unfit driving while under the influence of drugs and lost his driving privileges for two years. A few months after getting back behind the wheel, he nailed a seven-ton truck, but was released without charges -- and according to E! Online, he promised to cut back on his marijuana use in the future.

The singer made bail and has a court date set for Aug. 13.
