Chelsea Clinton officially tied the knot with investment banker Marc Mezvinksy on Saturday, according to a statement from her parents Bill and Hillary Clinton, surrounded by Washington power players and celebs including Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen.

‘Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together,’ the former First Couple said.
In Rhinebeck, N.Y., guests were transported from the quaint Delamater Inn to the 6:30 p.m. nuptials on River Road, by way of shuttles and black Town Cars. The mother of the bride rode in a van.

The interfaith ceremony was officiated by Rabbi James Ponet and the Rev. William Shillady, with reports saying the program included ‘friends and family reading the Seven Blessings, which are typically recited at traditional Jewish weddings following the vows and exchange of rings.’

Actors Danson and Steenburgen were spotted Saturday afternoon roaming the small town, which was saturated by media.

‘I’ve known her since she was a baby, so this is a big moment,” Steenburgen told reporters.

Marie Clinton Bruno, a relative of the former president, praised the location as a ‘wonderful choice. It reminds me of the Ozarks in Arkansas, except more chic.”

Chelsea and Marc started dating in 2005 and announced their engagement in November 2009. Stay tuned to the Ministry for developments.
