Exclusive: Pete Yorn marries photographer Beth Kaltman before tour kickoff

Congratulations to rocker Pete Yorn -- we can exclusively report that the indie singer recently tied the knot with longtime girlfriend Beth Kaltman.

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Yorn and his sweetheart hit a Los Angeles courthouse to make their union official, a source close to the situation tells the Ministry.

‘After the courthouse, they had a small ceremony with about 20 friends and family,’ the source said. An informal reception followed at Santa Monica’s Shutters on the Beach hotel.

Kaltman, a photographer, jewelry designer and former model, didn’t go through a painstaking planning process. ‘It was a simple, impromptu wedding before Pete goes on tour,’ the source said. After the reception, the pair headed to Santa Barbara for a weekend honeymoon.

‘They’ve been dating for years and are so happy,’ a friend of the couple tells us.

The wedding party was low-key, but Yorn counted his two power-player brothers in attendance. Lawyer Kevin reps clients including Scarlett Johannson and Ellen DeGeneres; agent Rick‘s Artists Management Group has Justin Timberlake and Martin Scorsese in its stable.

Yorn kicks off his nationwide tour in February. The rocker has enjoyed solo success, as well as a collaboration with Johannson on a 2009 album titled ‘Break Up.’

Repeated calls to label reps and Yorn management were not returned.
