Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal are reportedly over, you guys. Sadsies. Peel yourself off the floor and ask in harmony with us: How?! Why?!

‘It ended last month,’ a source told People magazine of the fledgling romance, which frankly stunned us upon discovery in late October.

The two first surfaced at ‘Saturday Night Live,’ together backstage mingling with host Emma Stone and cast. The next day, they enjoyed a coffee date in Brooklyn near the home of Jake’s sister Maggie.

Over Halloween, the two vacationed in Big Sur, indulging in an ice cream date and poolside lounging. Flash forward to Thanksgiving and it was another family affair with the Gyllenhaals in New York. The quality time ceased over the stars’ respective December birthdays and during New Year’s festivities.

No word on why they’re dunzo, if in fact they’re dunzo. Camps for both stars are mum.
