Charlie Sheen had a few friends over Friday night for another get-together in his screening room -- but this time the guests were stars of pro baseball (not porn) and the movie was ‘Major League’ (again, not porn). To our knowledge, nobody called 911.

The movie party, reported by TMZ, continues the baseball theme of Sheen’s at-home rehab, which has included a stop by the UCLA team’s batting practice to swing at a few pitches and remind the players to stay off crack, and a couple of revealing calls to ‘The Dan Patrick Show.’

Sheen’s guests Friday included Lenny Dykstra, Kenny Lofton, Brian ‘The Beard’ Wilson, Eddie Murray, Todd Zeile and others, TMZ said. The website also reported Sheen let a few of the guys try on one very special ring: Babe Ruth‘s 1927 World Series ring, which Sheen picked up at auction a while back for a mere $225,000. (After losing track of that $150,000 Patek Phillippe watch in New York, we’re almost surprised he let anyone try on such a pricey bauble.)

In Sheen’s second chat recently with Patrick, he advised Lindsay Lohan to work on her impulse control. ‘Just try to think things through a little bit before you do them,’ he offered.

In ‘Major League’ and ‘Major League II,’ Sheen famously portrays Rick Vaughn, a pitcher with control issues -- control of the ball, of course. Sheen’s Vaughn shares the nickname ‘Wild Thing’ with retired real-life relief pitcher Mitch Williams.

Sheen reportedly flew Wilson in from Arizona on his private jet, later returning the San Francisco Giants star to spring training. The actor intends to be back at work on ‘Two and a Half Men’ next week, Show Tracker says.

For the record, 9:55 a.m. Feb. 21: An earlier version of this post referred to former Dodger Todd Zeile as Ted Ziele. (What was it Sheen said about staying off the ... ? Yeah, we hear ya.)
