Good afternoon, Noel Devine, you are the first member of the all-name team. A couple of commenters raised a good point over the weekend: we ought to have a few more diarists here at LA Land, to join Kate in the Valley.
Kate, we believe, sets a very high bar; she is smart, engaging, funny, honest, and a good writer.
So, yes, we’re looking for another diarist or three. We’re looking for someone who has a compelling, on-going real estate story to tell -- you are trying to sell a house, or trying to sell 75 houses. Or, you are looking to buy a house, or buy 15. You are struggling to save your house from foreclosure. You are a flipper. Or a realtor. Or an investor buying foreclosed properties. Or a builder. Or an installer of granite counters. We could go on. You don’t have to be a real estate ‘expert’ -- you just need to have a good real estate story.
You can do this in semi-anonymity, if you choose (You’d have to tell LA Land who you are, what you do, etc.) It takes a thick skin -- at least half of the commenters will be critical of you, and some will be downright mean to you.
If this sounds like fun to you -- and you think you have a good story to tell once a week, drop us an email at lalandblog@yahoo.com. If this sounds like a terrible idea to you, and you think we shouldn’t do it, you can comment below.
