Alejandro Lazo covers the housing beat. Before joining the Los Angeles Times in September 2009 he worked for the Washington Post covering commercial real estate, residential real estate, local business and financial markets. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and majored in politics at the University of San Francisco.
