A quickie: Median listing prices in greater L.A. held flat over the past week at $475,000 -- that’s down $105,000 from their peak -- as inventory of for-sale homes spiked sharply, according to Housing Tracker’s weekly analysis of MLS listings.

Median listing prices are running 13.5% percent below year-ago levels. Inventory, now counted at 43,625 homes and condos, rose by almost 2,000 listings over the course of the week, and is now running 38.3% ahead of year-ago levels.

My apologies: you’ll have to wait until tomorrow morning for the accompanying chart.
