Doris Dungey, aka Tanta, dies at 47

Tanta, whose penetrating analysis and transparent passion fired up the Calculated Risk blog, died Sunday morning in Columbus, Ohio. Her obituary appears in the New York Times today.

This April, 2007 post is an example of Tanta’s anger over the mortgage mess, and her realization that so many, including herself, were present in its creation.
