Spring wardrobes can get a boost with Lands’ End new rainwear collections. The clothing retailer said today that it was introducing styles for the rainy season in a variety of colors and prints that would help consumers ‘weather storms ahead.’

‘With gloomy forecasts from weather to financial, many turn to fashion for a rosier outlook,’ the company said. ‘Color-trend forecasts predict either bright or calming hues will be colors of choice this spring for those looking to cheer up or calm down.’

Parkas, trench coats and rain boots are featured in the new collections. The Wisconsin company is touting bright colors such as yellows and oranges, and more calming colors such as neutral tans and beiges. The items will also feature patterns such as poppies and plaids.

Lands’ End merchandise is sold at the retailer’s own locations, at Sears stores and through catalog orders. The company is owned by Sears Holdings Corp.
