Times staff writer Zohreen Adamjee interviews reporters Ralph Vartabedian, left, and Ken Bensinger about their coverage of Toyota’s acceleration problems. Their investigation played a role in Toyota’s decision to temporarily halt sales and production of eight of their popular models and helped spark three congressional investigations. Ralph and Ken were named finalists for the 2010 Pulitzer Prize in national reporting.
