President Obama will deliver his first State of the Union address on Wednesday, Jan. 27.

Obama will address a joint session of Congress, beginning at 6 p.m. PST.

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the speech will be broadcast live on national television and streamed on the White House website.

The speech Obama delivered last year, just weeks after taking office, technically is not considered a State of the Union address.
