The Obamas dine out in Washington

President Obama and his wife, Michelle, went out for dinner on a pleasant evening in Washington.

The first couple arrived Friday at Komi restaurant, near DuPont Circle, surprising diners and passersby who cheered and took photos. The restaurant serves mainly Greek and Mediterranean dishes.

The Obamas will see little of each other this weekend. The first lady is the commencement speaker Saturday at the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. The president on Sunday will deliver the commencement address at Hampton University in Hampton, Va.
