And, apparently, buys the right to announce who made the U.S. men’s Olympic gymnastics team.

While officials of USA Gymnastics told reporters that an announcement would be made at 3 p.m. EDT at the Wachovia Center, the names of the team members appeared on nbcolympics.com shortly before a list was made public. NBC, of course, owns the U.S. TV rights to the games, having paid a reported $1.7 billion for worldwide media rights.
