Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger was in San Jose on Friday to greet some of the 600 U.S. Olympic Team members, coaches and trainers who are passing through the city on their way to the Beijing Games.
All of the nation’s Olympians are stopping at San Jose State for a day or two to get their uniforms, pose for an official photo and get sized for an Olympic ring.

USOC officials also are briefing athletes on what to expect when they get to Beijing for the Games that begin Aug. 8.
