I learned from an Indian newspaper (yes, I’m outsourcing my reading) that Australian scientists are warning computer users that “your office printer could be posing as much a danger to your lungs as a drag on a cigarette.

This warning is actually double hearsay, since the Indian paper quotes an Australian paper quoting Professor Lidia Morawska of Queensland University on the health dangers of “tiny toner-like materials” emitted by some laser printers.” Even so, it’s a shocking to think that copy centers might be cancer clusters. As they say in Oz, Crikey!

Does this mean that Disney will now remove scenes showing printing from its movies?
