Maybe they figure that the cost for gas to drive there is so high, no one will notice a few extra bucks at the ticket booth. Or maybe it’s because they draw so many foreign tourists whose currencies make the dollar look like a mouse. In any case, Disneyland raised its prices again, to $69 for adults and $59 for kids ages 3 to 9. That means the tab for a family of four comes to $256 (assuming they are not so unlucky as to have a child 10 or older), not counting parking, food or souvenirs.

Disneyland probably has rising energy prices, too. Or maybe it’s a challenge to see if we can find something cheaper to do with our leisure time. Like fill up the tank of a Hummer.
