Fantasia Barrino just can’t seem to catch a break, and a newly leaked track is only adding fuel to the fire of the past troubled week.

This time last week, Barrino’s name made the tabloid news when, after months of speculation and denial, a North Carolina woman filed for divorce from her husband and accused him of having an affair with the singer; the filing also included allegations of the two recording sex tapes.

Shortly after that, the singer was hospitalized following an overdose of aspirin and a sleeping aid.

According to a statement released by her manager, Brian Dickens, Barrino had an off-and-on relationship with the man for more than 11 months; she believed he had been separated from his wife since the summer of 2009.

‘Fantasia read the [the complaint] for the first time’ last Monday, the statement said. ‘She knows some of the allegations ... are totally false. There are others she strongly doubts. There is plenty she does not know.’ In a newly leaked track, ‘Lucky,’ that hit the Internet this weekend, the 26-year-old croons about being jealous that another woman “gets to have it every day” and that she’s hoping to “take her place.”

Here is the hook: “I know you got a girl and I know that I’m wrong, but a hard man’s good to find. Yeah, she get to have it all year long, so can I just get tonight?”

Barrino said she recorded more than 100 songs during the “Back to Me” sessions, and presumably, “Lucky” was among those. However, it didn’t make the final cut for the album, which hits stores Aug. 24.
“It was so hard to choose,” Barrino said of the final 12 songs that made the cut. “In the end, we started coming up with so many great songs and it just didn’t make it.”

A day after Fantasia was released from the hospital, both TMZ and Radar spotted the singer with the man having a heart-to-heart conversation -- as well as a camera crew, presumably filming scenes for the second season of her VH1 reality show, “Fantasia for Real,” which premieres Sept. 19.

But Barrino won’t let the controversy curb her from pushing the album. She is gearing up for a heavy promo trail, which includes appearances on ‘Good Morning America’ on Aug. 24 and ‘Lopez Tonight’ on Aug. 25.

“I can’t thank my fans enough for their prayers and support during such a challenging time. It has given me the motivation to get back to work and honor the commitments I made to promote ‘Back to Me,’ ” she said in a statement released by her record label Monday. ‘I put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this album and I pray that everyone enjoys it as much as I do.”
