Taylor Swift’s 2011 “Speak Now” tour will encompass 87 shows in 19 countries on four continents starting Feb. 9 in Singapore and reaching Los Angeles for a pair of shows, on Aug. 23 and 24. She’ll also play in California on Sept. 1 and 2 (San Jose) and Sept. 3 (Sacramento).

The tour will have stops in Asia and Europe in the early months of the year, then begin a string of North American appearances with a May 27 show in Omaha. The tour is scheduled to conclude Oct. 8 in Dallas. On-sale information for the North American tour leg is still to be announced.

Her 2009-10 “Fearless” tour included 107 performances in 88 cities in five countries over 15 months. Swift’s “Speak Now” album became the fastest-selling album in more than five years when it was released last month, selling 1,047,000 copies in its first week.
