Gwen Sebastian’s time on “The Voice” might have come to an end on Monday’s “Battle Round” episode, but the country songstress has already landed her next gig.

Sebastian announced Tuesday that she’s been added to her “Voice” mentor Blake Shelton’s current Well Lit & Amplified tour.

The singer failed to advance to ‘The Voice’s’ live shows after an emotional “battle” with Erin Willett, in which they took on Pat Benatar’s “We Belong.” Shelton favored Willett, who dedicated her performance to her father (who had fallen gravely ill before the performance), and she missed his final hours in order to sing (the episode was dedicated to his memory).

“The first time I ever heard Gwen’s voice, I knew it was something special. She has the rare ability to combine power with passion in her singing abilities,” Shelton said in a statement. “Although our journey together has ended on ‘The Voice,’ it’s just beginning in real life.”

A seasoned performer, Sebastian was pegged as one of the season’s front-runners -- Entertainment Weekly tagged her the No. 4 artist to watch this season. Also, her 2010 EP ‘V.I.P (Barefoot Girl)’ hit iTunes’ ‘New and Noteworthy’ country music section after her performance.

“Never in a million years would I think that this journey would lead me to be onstage with Blake. I am honored he asked me to become a part of his show and a member of his ‘road family.’ Watching him perform is a learning experience in itself,” Sebastian said in the release. “He has a big heart and an infectious laugh. Plus, he’s pretty darn funny!”

The tour, which sees Shelton at the Stagecoach Festival in Indio, Calif., on April 28, also features his runner-up from Season 1 of the hit NBC competition, Dia Frampton. Sebastian is also scheduled to perform with Shelton on the Academy of Country Music awards April 1.
