MEEEow. Poor Natasha - she’s the odd (quite literally) gal out of the four remaining models - and Dionne, Jaslene and Renee teamed up to try to boot her from the show. It didn’t help that Natasha had a raging head cold, and skipped out on a night of clubbing in Sydney, which gave the trio the opportunity to cement their plans against her. It’s true that the Russian woman has always been a bit off - there’s the implied mail-order bride relationship with her husband (the official line is that they met on when he took a business trip to Moscow) and on top of that, her rarely mentioned baby - and this secrecy about her personal life freaked out the other girls in the house enough to gang up on her.

Natasha could not have been more listless in her Aboriginie-inspired photo shoot - makeup helped cover her red nose and diminish her puffy eyes - but didn’t do anything for her weary stumbling through the poses. Tyra called her out for it - saying that 90% of her shots looked like she was surprised that the camera was there. During the judging stage, each woman was asked who, among those that remained, had the least Top Model potential - Dionne, Jaslene and Renee cattily replied Natasha. In the end, it backfired - the judges decided the others were just jealous, and Dionne was knocked off the show. (Yep, another one of my favorites gets the boot. Have I mentioned I’m a Chicago Cubs fan? Do I have to?) So for the final three we have redeemed Renee, who was much more fun to watch when she was bitchy, newly loathed Natasha, who takes the weird cake, and androgynous Jaslene, who shouldn’t jokingly refer to herself as a drag queen so much, because the name Drag Queen Jaslene is really quite catchy. They’re all stunning, and it sets up a fun season finale next week; the teaser implied that it would be a fashion show involving antlers as hats. I can’t wait.
