‘Gossip Girl’: A peek at season 2

While I’m sure you’re still reeling from this season’s shocking revelations, the Web is already buzzing about news regarding the next season of ‘Gossip Girl.’ So far we know that the extended season will include a total of 24 episodes to make up for those lost during the writers strike. That’s practically six months of backstabbing bitchery and headbands! CW won’t confirm a season premiere date until it announces its fall lineup next week, but since production resumes in June, it’s likely to come back in late summer. It looks like we’ll be seeing Chuck in lots of white linen suits, drama and debauchery in the Hamptons and much more of Michelle Trachtenberg, who apparently signs on as a full-time cast member next season.
