NBC picks up comedy ‘Perfect Couples’ for next fall

“Perfect Couples”

depicts the misadventures of three engaging couples as they struggle to find out what makes the ideal relationship and how to maintain it.

One couple is described as ‘normal’ and ‘relatable’ and is played by Kyle Howard (‘My Boys”) and Christine Woods (“Flash Forward”).

The second couple involves a needy husband and a neurotic wife played by Dave Walton (‘100 Questions’) and Mary Elizabeth Ellis (‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’).

The third married couple is played by Hayes MacArthur (‘She’s Out of My League’) and Olivia Munn (‘Attack of the Show’) and they are described as a reformed party guy and the group’s mother hen.

The single-camera comedy was created by Jon Pollack (“30 Rock”) and Scott Silveri (“Friends”).

The comedy joins five other series NBC has announced for the next TV season: ‘Chase,’ ‘Undercovers,’ ‘The Event,’ ‘Love Bites’ and ‘Outsourced.’
