The first season of ‘Lost’ was bookended with the following memorable moments: First was Charlie’s, ‘Guys, where are we?’ at the end of the pilot.

Then came Michael’s heartbreaking ‘Waaaaaaalt!’ in the first season finale.

Those two performances by Dominic Monaghan and Harold Perrineau got well-deserved rave reviews from critics. But now I’m wondering whether they motivated Team Darlton to delve into the performing arts.

I asked executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse about their budding acting careers this week, and Lindelof responded, ‘I’d like to nip that in the bud. We have a lot of fun doing it. And I will say that I am comfortable playing the character, Damon Lindelof, but playing other characters is probably a little bit outside my range of talent.’

That’s what he says, but Exhibit A was their first video with the Muppets.

Now there’s ‘The Swedish Chef’ episode, which Cuse introduced to his Twitter followers Saturday: ‘I have no words for this -- at least not in English.’

I have one word for it: awesome. Please enjoy.
