Lifetime renews ‘The Client List’ for a second season

Lifetime is leaving more money on the table for ‘The Client List’--the network has renewed the sudser for a second season.
The series, which stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as a masseuse who knows how to target the love handle area, will run next year with 15 episodes.
Hewitt said in a statement: “I couldn’t be happier about Lifetime’s decision to renew The Client List for a second season. It has been so much fun working with such a great cast and crew on the wonderful stories we tell, and I’m ready to see where The Client List takes all of us next year.”
The drama’s April premiere as a weekly drama drew 2.8 million total viewers, making it the network’s most-watched series launch since ‘Drop Dead Diva’ on July 12, 2009, according to the network. It’s season-to-date average has hovered around 2.7 million.
