Jim Caple at ESPN.com has an amusing/creative list of ‘America’s 100 most important sports venues.’ No. 1, duh, is Yankee Stadium. (Like it needs more publicity this week.) And several Southern California locales make the list, as you’d expect. Things get wacky when he leaves the world of arenas and stadiums, and includes a shout-out to doctors’ offices.
