College football rankings by the L.A. Times’ Chris Dufresne

Times columnist Chris Dufresne just posted his weekly college football rankings, and we’re thinking the state of Alabama might be OK with its teams’ rankings -- but perhaps not Dufresne’s comments.

Take a guess which team this description belongs to: ‘You know you attended (fill in the blank) if your mom keeps a spit cup on her ironing board.’

USC remains No. 1 and Georgia leapfrogged Oklahoma for the No. 2 spot.

Fresno State, UCLA’s opponent Saturday at the Rose Bowl, is No. 18.
