UCLA’s Rick Neuheisel understands, Bruins fans don’t

T.J. Simers has gotten more than the usual amount of complaints, and that’s a lot, about a recent column, this one on UCLA’s Rick Neuheisel.
But Neuheisel put it in perspective last night on KTLA.
‘I got TJ’d,’’ he said.

... I thought it was time, though, to give the new UCLA football coach the Page 2 Test on Monday, all newcomers in town getting the same treatment at one time or another. The results, though, were shocking. Rick Neuheisel came off more uptight than Karl Dullard, and a bigger drip. ...
‘I’m not the first,’ Neuheisel said of being TJ’s target, ‘and I won’t be the last. It’s part of the deal and you just move on. There’ll be a day when they’re writing NICE things about us.’’
Who knows, maybe Saturday.
