USC moved up in all the college football polls this week, including the one voted on by former coaches. It’s called the Legends Poll and it counts for nothing in the final BCS rankings -- but is nevertheless interesting.

Perhaps most interesting is that former UCLA coach Terry Donahue ranked the Trojans fourth, while former USC coach John Robinson ranked the Trojans sixth. Maybe Robinson saw USC play Saturday, when the Trojans weren’t very good despite a 28-0 victory over Arizona State, and Donahue didn’t.

Donahue and Robinson agreed on Texas as No. 1, as did most of their colleagues in the poll. Alabama finished second. USC finished in fourth place.
