Mark Grace says Cubs laid down against Dodgers

You’d think the Dodgers might get a little credit for sweeping the Cubs in the National League Division Series.

But that’s not the way former Cubs first baseman Mark Grace sees it.

‘Honestly, I was very disappointed in what I saw, especially this year, because they were, in my opinion, by far the best team in the National League,’’ Grace tells the Chicago Tribune. ‘And to get swept out? Honestly, they really should be humiliated.’’

He goes on to say the Cubs ‘laid down.’’
