Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell not only led Texas Tech to victory over Texas on the next-to-last play of the game Saturday, he leaped over Longhorns quarterback Colt McCoy in the HeismanPundit/Orlando Sentinel Heisman Trophy poll.

Harrell received eight of the 10 first-place votes; McCoy received the other two.

The Big 12 again had the top three vote-getters -- Harrell, McCoy and Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford. Texas Tech wide receiver Michael Crabtree, who caught the game-winning touchdown pass from Harrell, moved into fifth place.

The Pundit points out that McCoy would probably still win the real Heisman vote if ballots were due today, but Harrell still has remaining games against Oklahoma State and Oklahoma and perhaps one for the Big 12 title to overtake the Texas quarterback.
