Ducks’ Francois Beauchemin has surgery

Ducks defenseman Francois Beauchemin underwent surgery today to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee at the Kerlan-Jobe Surgery Center.

The surgery was performed by team physician Ronald Glousman.

Beauchemin, 28, is out for the season. He also is one of six Ducks players who will become unrestricted free agents at the end of this season.
