Starting with tonight’s pre-game introductions, when the Washington Wizards fans cheered as Kobe Bryant was introduced, there have been moments when the Lakers felt as if they were playing a home game.

The fans inside Verizon Center applauded the Lakers, cheered for the Lakers.

They chanted ‘M...V...P’’ when Bryant shot his free throws.

They cheered when Andrew Bynum dunked over JaVale McGee.

Yeah, the fans did cheer for the Wizards.

But it was the Lakers, who took a 58-53 halftime lead, enjoying the special treatment.

In fact, late in the first quarter, the fans began to chant, ‘Let’s go Lakers. Let’s go Lakers.’’
