Want to get a peek at some potential NHL stars of the next decade?

The Junior Ducks, a team of 8- and 9-year-olds, will scrimmage against a team from Beijing on Saturday at Anaheim Ice, the Ducks’ practice facility. Game time is 5:50 p.m., admission is free, and the cute quotient is sure to be high.

There are many excellent youth hockey programs in Southern California, but this Junior Ducks team has the advantage of some good bloodlines. One of its members is Leevi Selanne, youngest son of Ducks winger Teemu Selanne.
