Former Laker Coby Karl reportedly set to play in Europe

There was a report today that Coby Karl, who spent the 2007-08 season with the Lakers and also was in the team’s training camp this season, has agreed to join a team in Spain to play for the remainder of the season.

Karl, who played for the NBA’s Development League Idaho Stampede, is supposed to join Joventut Badalona.

Karl, a 6-foot-5 guard, was a fan favorite when he played for the Lakers and was one of the last players cut before the start of this season.
