USC dips into Atlantic (Coast Conference) in NCAA tournament

USC, winner of the Pacific 10 Conference tournament Saturday, was shipped to Minnesota to play Boston College in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

‘They beat North Carolina, in North Carolina, when North Carolina was No. 1 in the nation,’ Trojans Coach Tim Floyd said. ‘They have a great point guard in Tyrese Rice. But then they’re all good teams at this point.’

USC is seeded 10th in the Midwest Regional.
