Update: Memphis wins, 81-70

Memphis takes a 10-point lead and Cal State Northridge is being called ‘a pesky group of Matadors.’ But what a great way to kick off the day and you just know that coaches of other first- and second-seeded heavy favorites are furiously writing on chalkboards about taking nothing for granted.

And CBS makes a nice cut to the final 4.5 seconds of the LSU-Butler game. No. 8 LSU is up 74-71 over No. 9. Oops, now it’s 75-71 and game over.

Heckuva start to this day. Can it get better?
