UCLA has offered no reason for hope

There seems to be nothing UCLA Coach Ben Howland can point to during this halftime talk as something the Bruins should keep doing in the second half in order to overcome a 44-31 deficit against Villanova and keep alive the Bruins string of making Final Fours (three and counting).

Most amazing so far is how the Bruins can’t guard Villanova. It seems as if the seniors -- Josh Shipp, Darren Collison and Alfred Aboya -- are just tired of it all. They’re being pummeled, thrown to the ground and not offering any of the same physicality back.
