The NFL will kick off its prime-time television schedule with a Thursday night game, Sept. 10, between the defending Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers and the AFC South champion Tennessee Titans. The first Sunday night prime-time game (5:30 p.m. Pacific) on NBC will have the Green Bay Packers hosting their NFC Central rivals the Chicago Bears. On Sept. 14 ESPN will have a Monday Night Football doubleheader celebrating the 50th anniversary of the formation of the American Football League. At 4 p.m. Pacific, Buffalo will play at New England and at 7:15 p.m. Oakland will host San Diego.

And if you’re planning for when to serve your Thanksgiving turkey in between football, Fox will have Green Bay against Detroit at 9:30 a.m. Pacific; CBS will have Oakland and Dallas at 1:15 p.m. and the NFL Network will get the New York Giants at Denver at 5:20 p.m.
