Lakers Coach Phil Jackson told reporters today that his injured center Andrew Bynum might be ready to play the last week of the regular season. The Lakers’ final game of the regular season is April 14 at home against Utah.

Today, Bynum played three-on-three at the Lakers’ practice facility, and he was outplayed by the team’s backup center, DJ Mbenga, Jackson said. On Saturday, Jackson expects Bynum to play in a full five-on-five practice session.

Bynum has been sidelined since tearing his medial collateral ligament on Jan. 31 in a game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
